Met up with a few Google employees over the weekend. They are pretty excited about the pending money-making event. A little cautious about talking about it now that they have entered the 'quiet period'. This ~3 month timeframe will produce even less news directly from Google and more and more speculation about their worth once public.
Search Engine Strategies is hosting a show in Canada for the first time next week. I am lucky (seriously) enough to be doing 3 talks including the Introduction talk first thing of the first day. We are also doing a few panels - with esteemed blogger Andrew Goodman - on the Canadian Search Engine Marketing industry.
